I'm surprised you didn't use that as your monster/XCU icon because that is really freakin' disturbing in the best sort of way. As in, too bad it's an alt because that would be my banner maker's choice.

What is the source of your screen cap? I can't decide if you started with a really good HD cap or if you really really cleaned it up because all the caps I have from that episode are super dark and grainy.

And yes when I see someone using one of my icons I just get a huge kick out of it. Good to know the person who snagged yours gave credit. I know a lot of icons end up being snagged over at fan pop.com and other places where the names of the creators are lost, and that's too bad.

And yes, I LOVED that episode, too!

I didn't realize I did until I saw fandom arguing over the episode and getting down on Buffy for the wrong things, and totally ignoring the legitimate domestic violence angle, and the right of someone who is attacked to defend herself; it forced me to revisit the episode and realize just how much of it struck home with my own upbringing. And how much is going on in that episode that pretty much gets ignored.

There's very few episodes in this series that don't have a lot of layers, even the "throwaway" eps.

And casting nice guy John Ritter was a minor stroke of genius.

I was soooo happy when my Dru-Icon won in this round, for this is one of my most favourite I ever did (Dru is sooo great)

Congratulations again! I'm still working on the banners so I apologize for the delay. I didn't really fully appreciate Drusilla until this year; and I have drusillathekiller on tumblr and kikimay to thank for that mostly.
