Ariel combed through Lagoona’s blonde hair with her fingers. “I don’t want you to go,” she said and sighed.
Lagoona looked at her with a little smile. “You know I have to go to school.”
“Yeah, I know. I just wish-“
“Ariel, don’t. You know it’s not possible.” Lagoona sat up and let her hand wander over Ariel’s cheek, down her shoulders and belly over the mermaid’s fin. Ariel closed her eyes, enjoying the caress, but also knowing what Lagoona was telling her in doing so.
“If I also had legs, I could join you, right?” the redhead asked.
“Yeah, sure. It would be fun having you around,” Lagoona said and kissed Ariel.
“I’m really going to miss you,” Ariel said after they broke the kiss and traced Lagoona’s freckles with her lips, making the blonde giggle.
“The next holidays come soon. You just have to wait.”
“Sure. I will.”
