“I wish all autumn days could be like this,” Belle says and looks up at the pale sunlight shining through the colorful leaves of the trees.
“Yeah, it’s amazing … I love the forest this way. It’s so peaceful,” Ruby agrees and kicks up some of the leaves on the ground.
Belle chuckles at this and pulls up her scarf when a cold wind blows at them.
“You’re cold?” Ruby asks and turns around to look at her friend.
“No, I’m okay … just look at this,” Belle points out as even more leaves fall from the trees and Ruby smiles when the other girl spreads her arms and spins around slowly. She beams at Ruby when a red leaf lands directly on her head and sticks to her hair.
Ruby can only stare and smile. “You have no idea how beautiful you look,” she breathes when she approaches her, frees the leaf lovingly and lays her lips onto Belle’s.
